What screen resolution do I need to have?
- Up to 1600 x 1200 @ 80kHz
How big can my classroom be?
- Up to 100 students.
Will it operate on Apple Macs?
- No
Do the classrooms need to have PCs or can they be just monitors?
- They can just be monitors as the Coursemaster is a screen-to-screen delivery system
Can the instructor show one students screen to another/other students?
- Only on Multi-way
What other inputs can I have on One-way?
- An input to accommodate another Instructor PC or laptop.
Is there a help-line if I have any problems?
- Yes. There is a help-line for all Ascot products
What is the level of warranty and maintenance?
- Each Ascot hardware product has 12 months warranty and the option of 1 or 3 years maintenance
Is it independent of software?
- Yes. Coursemaster is a hardware product

Ascot IDS

What network is required for the IDS system?
- Any network that will support TCP/IP
Can I use a normal telephone line?
- Yes
Do the monitors have to be TVs?
- No. The information can be displayed on bespoke monitors (including plasma screens) or PC screens
How much training do I need to use IDS?
- Two - three days for administrator/users or a recommended 3 days for Gatekeepers
How many monitors can I have?
- As many as required
Who sends the information to the screens?
- Trained and authorised users
What are the limits of information that can be sent?
- Almost none. Information can be as simple as a few words or as dynamic as a web page on the Web
Is there a help-line if I have any problems?
- Yes. There is a help-line for all Ascot products
What is the level of warranty and maintenance?
- IDS has 12 months warranty and there is a choice of maintenance options
